Agnes Adams joined the Maine Hands and Voices Board in the summer of 2025.  She is a former special education teacher and current administrative assistant at Islesboro Central School (ICS).  She is the proud momma of June, a 6-year-old child who is deaf with cochlear implants.  June attended Mackworth Island Preschool before beginning Kindergarten at ICS. Agnes lives with her husband Chris, and their daughter June, on the beautiful island of Islesboro.  They regularly attend Camp Discover and try to participate in as many events as possible to stay connected with the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
