Cathy Glover is the secretary of Maine Hands & Voices. She has an undergraduate degree in Deaf Education from the University of North Carolina, and a Master's degree in Deaf Education from Boston University. She has worked at schools for the Deaf and hard of hearing in several states, specializing in early childhood education. She has worked for the Maine Educational Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (MECDHH) for over 10 years as an Early Intervention Specialist for Deaf and hard of hearing children birth through age 5. Cathy is fluent in American Sign Language, Manually Coded English, Cued Speech, and well versed in Listening and Spoken Language techniques, as well as all current hearing assistive technology. Cathy works with Child Development Services as a part of the Early Intervention team to support families who have a child with any degree of hearing loss. Cathy has been on the Maine Hands & Voices Board for the past 12 years.
