Nicole Staples lives in Northern Maine, in a little town called Lee. Nicole’s parents found out that she was hard of hearing when she was three years old and from there on she has worn two bilateral hearing aids. Nicole is married and has a step daughter, along with a son and a daughter of her own. Her daughter, Oaklyn, was born hard of hearing and wears two bilateral hearing aids. Nicole has newly joined Hands and Voices/Guide by Your Side as both a Parent Guide and Deaf/Hard of Hearing Guide where she is excited to start this new journey. Nicole looks forward to being able to support and share her and her daughter’s experiences with other parents and Deaf/hard of hearing families!
